THE CITY OF RICHFIELD UTILITIES ARE SPLIT INTO THREE DIFFERENT DIVISIONS:
Water, Wastewater and Storm water. The division consists of:
- 17 Employees
- 2 Supervisors
- 4 Water Plant Operators
- 2 Water Plant Mechanics
- 8 Public Works Workers
- 1 Utility Billing Clerk.
The Water Utility consists of a lime softening water treatment plant and:
- 2 water towers
- 7 wells
- 120 miles of water main
- 1,050 fire hydrants
- 1,420 valves
- 10,820 service connections
The Wastewater Utility consists of:
- 9 lift stations
- 120 miles of sanitary sewer main
- 2,250 manhole structures
The Storm Water Utility consists of:
- 10 lift stations
- 60 miles of storm water main
- 14 holding ponds
- 1,585 manhole structures
- 4,235 catch basins
