Airport Long Term Comprehensive Plan

The Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC) has completed a draft of the updated Long Term Comprehensive Plan (LTCP) for the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. The general public is invited to review this document and provide written comments to the MAC.

The document will be available for viewing on the MAC website starting January 20, 2010 (www.mspairport.com/about-msp/long-term-comp-plan.aspx). Written comments will be accepted until close of business on Friday, February 19, 2010.

Two Public Open Houses have been scheduled as follows:

Tuesday, February 9, 2010
5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
(A presentation is scheduled for 6:00 p.m.)

Thursday, February 11, 2010
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
(A presentation is scheduled for 5:00 p.m.)

The Open Houses will be held in the Lindbergh Room at the MAC General Offices, 6040 28th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN.

Showroom for Noise Mitigation Products

The Center for Energy & Environment (CEE) office and MAC showroom opened in 2008.

Window, door, storm window, and storm door products will be on display in the showroom, as well as examples of roof baffles and mechanical equipment such as air conditioners, water heaters, and furnaces.  Anyone interested in learning more about products that provide the best acoustical attenuation should stop in!
