JanuaryProject Options
Animal Tracks Take-home Project: Option 1
Due in February
Find animal tracks in your own yard or a
nearby outdoor area that's not too busy. (If you can't find any wild
animal tracks, feel free to use your own tracks!) Find a nice-looking
print and draw or take a picture of it. You may also want to measure
its size. Come back a day later and draw/take another picture.
How has it changed? Can you still see it? What things changed
the way it looks? If it's still there, come back multiple times and
keep track of how it changes.

Tracks
Take-home Project: Option 2 Due in February
Research the tracks of a group of animals. (This could be general, like
mammals, or specific, like rodents or 'dogs'.) Explain the difference between at
least three of these tracks using drawings, photos, or scans/photocopies with
your own notes and explanations.

Here's the guide I adapted from the book
