Is "Wi-Fi" Internet Service Coming to Richfield?

As of February 2010, there aren't any plans to have wi-fi installed in Richfield in the near future.

In Minneapolis, USI Wireless built a wireless network covering all 59 square miles of Minneapolis, providing residents, businesses, and visitors with wireless broadband access anywhere in the City. This network may eventually be expanded into Richfield.

Southwest Suburban Cable Commission:

Richfield is part of the five-city organization, Southwest Suburban Cable Commission (SWSCC). The SWSCC was established to administer the television cable franchise ordinance, adopted by the cities of Richfield, Eden Prairie, Edina, Hopkins and Minnetonka. A franchise ordinance is currently in effect to provide cable television services to the five-city area.
