As of the end of June, work continues on the new building in a south to north fashion. Approximately 60 workers are on site installing concrete footings and walls, waterproofing, erecting steel, constructing masonry walls and putting up the brick veneer.  Curb and gutter for the Fire Department's driveways on Portland Ave. and 68th Street are being installed. The goal is to have the entire building's roof on before cold weather.
