Portland Avenue Closure at Hwy 62 & Eastbound Hwy 62 Ramp Closure
The Portland Avenue bridge spanning Hwy 62 closed on Monday, July 26 to prepare for removal of the bridge deck the weekend of July 30. Bridge reopening is Sept. 2010. Eastbound Hwy. 62 freeway ramps at Portland Avenue also closed on July 26; ramp from westbound Hwy. 62 to Portland Avenue will remain open but is scheduled to close in mid-August.
